Feeder Screw
The feed screw designed for use with conditioners has a shaft with a welded-on continuous
screw blade, conveying the meal into the mixer inlet. The trough is made of stainless sheet steel,
and the feed screw length depends on the specific plant requirements.
The feed screw shaft is driven by a variable speed drive unit, suitable for a continuous control
of the feed screw speed, including the amount of feed conveyed to the mixer-conditioner.
The feed screw can be fitted on the mixer-conditioner in any of four positions at 90° intervals.

Conditioner 1 (Stainless Steel Construction)
ANDRITZ has developed distinctive conditioner models designed to provide the best
preparation of raw material prior to entering the pelleting or extrusion process.
Conditioning is the most effective way of achieving excellent pellet quality.
Using just the right combination of heat, moisture, and time, conditioning activates the
naturally occurring binding components in plant materials and makes pelleting and extrusion
easier and more efficient.
The ANDRITZ SCM conditioner, manufactured in stainlesssteel,
is characterized by a compact structure, low energy consumption, and a long working life.
The machine adopts different structures for different kinds of feed, especially for shrimp feed.
Extended conditioners andjacketed conditioners are optional, which helps to meet
the different requirements, such as longer retention time,higher temperature, or both.

Conditioner, Different Diameter Cylinder (DDC) type
The ANDRITZ double-shaft conditioner is well suited for various kinds of materials.
All parts coming in contact with feed are made of stainless steel for corrosion
resistance and feed safety. It is equipped with two large volume barrels for
higher liquid addition as well bearings that are international recognized for their durability.
A homogenous mix is achieved quickly and efficiently, thanks to the differential

Pellet chamber for PM615 made with barrel as sandwich construction with
noise insulating P.U.R. foam in between, complete with 2 pellet knives and supplied with safety switch
